#11 Davide Biasco – passion, motivation, BAN and volunteering. Lessons learned from building Alumni community (part1 of the interview)
Do you know what it takes to lead a non-profit organization? This is the episode you need to listen to. Davide also known as Tunder is the current president of BEST Alumni Network (BAN). He leads the organization as part of the first elected board.
He is an engineer and having such experience leading a distributed team online was a big learning experience.
A big take away for volunteering and not having the time: “We always speak about time, but the right word to say sometimes is attention. You shouldn’t confuse time with attention. Because, time we have plenty, often we waste it in many ways we don’t want to. It’s about getting control of your attention.”

He delivers training sessions on presentation skills and leadership and he had helped hundred of people to improve their presentation skills.
He is also interested in creating more positive changes in the workplace by using entrepreneurship skills.
He had won startup competition where his team had validated and develop a business idea from scratch.
In his free time, he writes in his blog about effective product development.
